We are a biblical church committed to knowing the Triune God as he has revealed himself in the Bible. Our worship celebrates the redemptive plan of God to rescue sinners and give them life.

Sunday worship is a blend of traditional and contemporary worship. We follow a traditional Presbyterian order of worship and sing hymns, psalms, and contemporary songs that honor the Lord.

Everyone is welcome to worship with us on Sunday mornings. We would love to meet you and have a conversation about any questions you have regarding God or the Bible.

The Bible teaches us about God and his story of redemption. God created all things for his glory but sin entered his good creation. Sin corrupted God’s creation and leads to death. When men and women were guilty of sin and destined for death, God sent his only Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, to live a perfect life and offer his life as payment for sin in order to rescue God’s people. The Son of God was crucified on Calvary and on the third day he rose again from the dead. God promises forgiveness and life to every person who turns from sin and trusts in Jesus Christ.

We love having children in worship each Sunday. During worship, children learn the rhythms of the church (singing, praying, listening to the Word of God, hearing the Lord’s Prayer, etc.) from their parents and the pastor. Further, Sunday worship allows parents opportunities to teach their children since kids will observe different Christian themes and practices and will want to ask their parents about them.
We also know that having younger children in worship can be a challenge. We offer Children’s Time during the sermon each week for children under age 5.

With more families moving to the Charleston area every day, the SC coast is a rapidly growing region. Moreover, while Charleston is sometimes called “the Holy City,” many local churches have lost biblical teaching and focus on political agendas or self-help messages. The growth of our area and the need for biblical teaching led several individuals and families to meet and pray about the need for a new church and in 2016 we began meeting for weekly worship.

Presbyterian comes from the New Testament word for elder and it means that we are led by elders. Our church is led by elected elders rather than by one bishop or by a majority vote of the congregation.

We are affiliated with the Associate Reformed Presbyterian (ARP). The ARP is a biblical denomination that has been preaching the Gospel in America since the 18th century.
